The PETZL CROLL L is a lightweight chest ascender designed for efficient rope ascents, especially on large-diameter, swollen or rigid ropes. Its wide rope groove helps reduce friction and provides smooth movement on ropes from 8 to 13 mm in diameter.

The angled lower attachment hole helps keep the ascender flat against the body, while the upper hole allows attachment of a PETZL TORSE shoulder strap to maintain optimal positioning during ascent. The safety catch opens by pinching, allowing quick and simple operation.

A toothed stainless steel cam features a self-cleaning slot to maintain reliable performance in challenging conditions, including frozen or dirty ropes. The stainless steel construction also provides improved corrosion resistance.
